trouble!!! There is little more Jeffri loves than Plein Aire
paintings, combine that with a fair amount of lust from
Michael's court and it could be a real "free for all". This July Show
will be a collection of our Orcas favorites, as well as FABULOUS
pieces from new folks close by and abroad.

words........It’s no secret
that
Jeffri and I are ravenous art collectors ourselves (OK…
‘Collectors’, period). And so often we are urged by our friends, that
see the new works we’ve discovered or acquired, to “Please offer these
in the shop!!” And so it is that we’ve been fortunate enough to be
able to showcase artists like YuPing, Mark Bistranin and who knows how
many others! And typically, since Jeffri has such good taste, our
customers find great new offerings and the artists find great
popularity. A nice combination!
And so it is that we are organizing a show featuring the works of a
variety of
American
Plien Air painters! Plien Air (literally ‘in plain air’… or
out-doors) painting is enjoying a great popularity just now. It
truly represents the quintessential American style… really the spirit
of American art today. Simple. Loose. And we are working on quite
a collection of artists to offer their works at this fabulous show!
Of course favorites like David Ridgway and Frank Loudin (‘honorary’
Plien air painter). And artists new to Crow Valley and indeed to
Orcas will be featured! Who knows? This may become one of our
‘annual’ venues!

As always, please join us for an
Artist’s Reception on Friday, July 18th from 4 to 7PM. Food,
music, drinks… the usual!! The show will hang through July 27th.
